Our Graduate Program has a unique opportunity for Graduates to support our Defence team. This is a technical and watchkeeper role which involves provision and support of all Fleet Information Environment (FIE) in support of the Distributed Computing Central Services contract. You will be primarily based on the client site.
As part of the 12-month program starting in February 2021, you will have varied experiences across a broad field to enable you to develop:
- An understanding of how Fujitsu operates
- Technical Analytical and critical thinking
- IT best practises and understanding of leading digital technologies.
- Experience working in a multi-client organisation and IT best practises.
- Understanding Fujitsu's offerings.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for Graduates who;
- Have (in the last 2 years) or is about to complete a degree which may include a Bachelor of IT
- Have technical knowledge of:
- Microsoft Technologies (MS Server 2012 & 2016, SCCM, Group Policies and Active Directory);
- Hyper V virtualisation technologies.
- Symantec NetBackup Enterprise
- Desirably have technical knowledge and experience of:
- Microsoft Technologies (MS Server 2016 and Win10)
- Storage solutions such as NetApp SAN.
- Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop application virtualisation technologies;
- Thin client Operating System deployment;
- Basic Network fault finding;
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Due to Security Clearance requirements candidates MUST be Australian Citizens who are able to attain a security clearance of Negative Vetting 2 (TOP SECRET).

Corporate processes, bureaucracy.
Can get too busy in the small details to focus on the bigger items.
Sometime projects can be demanding It's a big company and it can be tricky to navigate through all of the different teams.
Lack of structured internal team support - you definitely need a few things going your way to succeed Too technical - would love to see an innovative/out of the box style way of integrating staff who don't have an IT background.
It takes time to understand the business and I need to be patient to explore the unknown until I solve the puzzle.
