Corporate Social Responsibility at Australian National Audit Office (ANAO)

I was involved in the team that planned the organisation's NAIDOC week celebration and we are looking at developing a RAP as well.

Very conscious in this space.

The new Auditor-General (appointed for an additional 9 years from this date) is committed to a paperless organisation, to increased spending on technology in the workplace, and a reduction in historical barriers between the business units within the organisation. As a new organisation member, my contribution has been (as far as what I said above) been to help draw business units closer together by collaborating with my colleagues in other areas. The ANAO has designated workplace giving charities which they encourage staff to make payments to, as well as social clubs and other regular functions along those lines.

I participated in NAIDOC week events where guest speakers shared their experiences of growing up in an indigenous community and the history of their family in Australia. A number of indigenous culture participation workshops were held to increase awareness of indigenous culture.

They care about the environment, implementing a digital first program. Also there are regular events to raise money for charity.
